Serving Abroad
John and Tessa Gillespie
John was the pastor at GCCC from 1994 to 2012. John and Tessa work with Global Training Network to train Majority World pastors and Christian leaders so that they can more effectively equip their congregations to evangelize and disciple their communities for Christ. John divides his time between studying and preparing at home in Kansas City, and making trips across the world to disciple pastors in places where they have little or no access to training.

12/12/2011
In two weeks 82 students and 22 staff from 13 nations will head out to nine different locations across the globe to partner with some of YWAM’s long term works to bring the message of the love of Jesus to the lost and broken. This is Community Transformations DTS, and we have had the privilege of leading this school deep into the heart of God for these last three months! We have seen tremendous growth in the students, in their freedom, character, and passion for the Lord, and they are hungry to see the lost saved!

Katherine Gillespie
Katherine Gillespie lives and loves Jesus in Capetown South Africa. She is one of a large community who are working in a township called Masiphumelele. Their Goal is to see local followers of Jesus raised up and multiply radical love in their own community. Katherine’s heart is to see this specifically happen in the young girls and mothers of Masi. So she is intentionally walking with a handful of girls, all who are falling more in love with Jesus and seeing their families changed and restored. The community has a ‘Jesus house’ in the middle of Masi, which is being used as a place of worship and intercession, training and equipping..bible studies and healing, salvation and tears…!
Lenny Rogers
Lenny is serving Jesus from New Life Farm, which is a couple of miles north-east of the village of Orllan in the province of Podujeva, Kosovo. Using modern agricultural practices he encourages the local rural population to return to the land they deserted during the Kosovo war of the late 1990’s. Lenny employs agriculture and friendship as the primary tools to quietly communicate the Gospel amongst the ethnic Albanian population which is predominantly Islamic.

Chris also runs a weekly Christian bookstall at the street market in the nearby town of Doué-la-Fontaine. They are linked to France Mission.
Daniel and Elizabeth Moore
George and Ann Todorov
The Todorovs are currently pastoring a rapidly-growing church in Varna, Bulgaria.
The Evangelical Baptist Church has existed in the area of Varna since 1927. The Church building used to be at 72 Nish Blvd (100 G.Dimitrov Blvd), until in 1985, by the decision of the local authorities, it was demolished and was forced to move to the suburbs of the city.
In 1989, a small group of believers started to live with the vision of the church being returned to the centre of the city. For seven years this group of people grew in number, relocating from one place to another, seeking a place for their house of prayer. God provided the solution when in 1999 the Church obtained one part of the property it owns today. This is how our newest history starts. What we long and pray for is: to serve God, bringing peace, blessing and encouragement to the people in our neighbourhood and even the entire city!
